HAPPY NEW YEAR MY WONDERS!

For real? Yep! I mean…that’s how I see July 1, 2015. As the beginning of a new year. Are you asking why?

Well, why not?

Many of us (especially this Duchess) started the new year 2015 on a high! I mean, that’s how energetic and positively vibrant I felt. Until February 14. :p

So as July finally arrived, I decided…no more crap excuses for under performing. I mean I have these bigggggg larger-than-Mother-Theresa’s desires & dreams. But how many did I achieve over these last six months? Too sad to open up.

Hence I decided to start afresh again. So… Happy New Year to the Duchess. :D

Now to the serious part. I’m going to tell you a bit of my plans. You should tell me yours too oh. And by the way, my plans are somewhat intertwined with yours. Huh? Chill…let moi explain. In my About Me  page, I described the different categories that this blog would be about eventually.

I keep hearing people say I wish I had a skill. I wish I could bake. Oh I sooo wish I could sew…or sing. Well, we ain’t wishing no more, darlings! We walk the talk now. So allow me ginger you a bit.

Why not decide to finally learn something! In this blog, I’d be starting real soon on DIYs (fashion, quick healthy meals &snacks, etc).

What am I saying?

  1. TRY get a sewing machine. You SHOULD buy second-hand if you are on a budget which Donald Trump and I expect you to be. :p You could purposefully save up from your salary/pocket money and do so. If you’re in Nigeria, please ask me in the comments section on how to get one and we’ll talk. Outside Naija? It should be easier for you then.
  2. Buy one or two baking pans. For bread/cake, biscuits, etc. And some accesories to boost your morale. (You’d be needing them in this blog, baby!)
  3. Buy courage. :D Especially for the sewing part. But I promise, easyyyy outfits….at first. Are you game? C’mon, I wanna see you make a dazzling outfit for me. Before Christmas. :) And eat deliciously healthily. Is that phrase correct? Whatever. ;)

Yeah, those three items should be on your top to-do-list. Because.I.Said.So. Seen that movie? Too muck talk, loved it still.

As for me, I wanna sew more, learn my french consistently this time, really read more, volunteer more and go out more. Introverts go out, don’t they? How will I meet my charming Duke, eh? :)

So, what’s your plan for the remaining six months? Do you have monthly & weekly goals? Share with moi, please.

Thanks for reading! Xoxo
